Forest near Hedensted, Midtjylland
It was taken just before Christmas - it's a fairly small forest called Hedensted Skov (Skov means forest in Danish) just outside the town of Hedensted in Denmark. My inlaws live there, and we visited my husband's family for Christmas.
The night after the photo was taken temperatures reached -19 C, so combined with the up to 40 cm snow the area had received over the last few days, it was the perfect setting for a white Christmas...
