Masked Owl (Tyto novaehollandiae)
The Tasmanian race is the largest species of Masked Owl in the world.

Diet: Variety of rodents, birds and mammals up to the size of a rabbit.
Habitat: Woodlands, forests and caves.
Breeding: Breeds anytime of year if conditions suit. Nests in hollow trees where 3 to 5 eggs are laid.
