This photo was taken in Redwood National Park near Klamath, CA.
I found this pile of driftwood at the base of the Hidden Beach trail, where the trail spills out of the forest and onto a large secluded beach. Here is a link with more information about this wonderful coastal forest: www.nps.gov/redw/
